Therapy Fees, Insurance Policy and Payment Information

At the start of your child therapy sessions, we will securely save a credit card on file, and this will be charged at the time of each counseling appointment. You'll receive a receipt via email right after the session. Please note, we do not bill insurance companies directly for mental health services. However, your registered social worker's license number will be included on the receipt for insurance reimbursement purposes. Since insurance plans vary for counseling services, we encourage you to reach out to your provider for details on coverage and the claims process. Unfortunately, therapy session insurance claims that are rejected are not refundable, so please clarify mental health coverage ahead of time.

Child and teen counseling sessions provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Orleans can be claimed as a medical expense on your income tax return if you have not received reimbursement by an insurance plan. Remember to retain your therapy receipts.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for all therapy appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule a counseling appointment, please do so via email or phone. If less than 48 hours notice is given, the full session fee will be charged. However, this fee may be waived in the case of an emergency.
